Business Analyst Ssr+ (On-site, CDMX)

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Semi-Senior Business Analyst to join our team. If you are analytical, client-oriented, and passionate about bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, Onetree is your place.

Location: On-site in Polanco, Mexico City (CDMX).

We believe this job is for you if you have:

3+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst in software development projects.

A highly analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over your projects.

Solid experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

Great communication and active listening skills, which are essential for working directly with clients and development teams.

What you will do (Responsibilities):

Client Collaboration: Work directly with the client to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and objectives.

Bridge the Gap: Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the development team.

Manage & Prioritize Backlog: Lead the prioritization of requirements and manage the backlog using frameworks such as MoSCoW (Must have, Should have, Could have, Won’t have).

Drive Discovery: Lead discovery sessions, propose process improvements, and help define the best approach to achieve the client's business goals.

Align Stakeholders: Present and explain project progress and solutions to clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned.

Ensure Quality: Provide active support during the testing phases, particularly facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and gathering client feedback.

What you need to bring (Requirements):

Seniority: Proven experience (Ssr+ level) working autonomously and interacting directly with clients.

Location: Availability to work on-site from our offices in Polanco, CDMX.

Language: Intermediate/Conversational English (ability to communicate effectively in day-to-day meetings and written tasks—perfection is not required).

Core BA Skills: Strong expertise in requirement gathering, mapping business processes, writing user stories, and backlog management.

Soft Skills: Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a problem-solving mindset.
